2025 Toyota Highlander Redesign, Release Date, ChangesThe mid-range 2025 Toyota Highlander continues to deliver sporty styling along with the sports-tuned suspension, while the Highlander Limited model brings in a variety of the most recent creature comforts. Toyota’s three-row SUV comes standard with a 3.5L V-6 engine and either front- or all-wheel drive, depending on the trim level. The Kia Telluride, Ford Explorer, and Hyundai Palisade are just a few of the more up-to-date alternatives.

Exterior Design

The external styling of theĀ 2025 Toyota Highlander is nothing short of stunning. L, LE, and XLE editions of the Toyota Highlander have a black front grille with silver-colored paint surrounding it, while the Limited and Platinum models have a black grille with chrome-colored trim and LED fog lights, 20-inch alloy wheels. Further distinguishing features include a silver-painted front bumper and rear fascia, a special 20-inch wheel, and LED headlights.

The black-accented machined-faced 20-inch wheels on the Highlander XSE provide sporty charm. The aerodynamic efficiency of the Highlander’s design makes it an excellent choice for a high-performance vehicle like this. Toyota will introduce Wind Chill Pearl as a new exterior color option for the Yaris in 2025. (replacing Blizzard Pearl). In terms of curviness and polishing, the car got even better when it was modified in 2025.

Interior Design

The XSE version of the 2025 Highlander features a sportier interior design while still maintaining the vehicle’s usability. A Captain’s Chair second row is standard on the XLE and above trims, while the L and LE provide seating for eight. Access to the third row isn’t a problem thanks to spacious rear doors that open wide.

With the third row of seats folded down, the Highlander has a maximum load capacity of 16.0 cu-ft. Second-row seats may also be folded, bringing the total capacity to 84.3 cu-ft. with the 60/40 split, third-row seatbacks folded. All-black SofTex-trimmed seats, ambient lighting, and a carbon fiber-finished instrument panel are standard features on Highlander XSE.

The base Highlander L model has an 8.0-inch touchscreen and a 4.2-inch gauge cluster display for the infotainment system. A 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 7.0-inch gauge display are standard on the higher-trim models. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, Bluetooth, and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot are all standard features, as is Android Auto. USB ports have been updated for both the front and back of the vehicle in 2025. The bottom of the middle stack houses three USB ports: two Type-C and one Type-A.

The standard engine in the 2025 Highlander is a 3.5-liter V6 with 295 horsepower. Based on the model, the automatic transmission sends power to either the front or all four wheels via a single differential. The FWD Highlander’s 0-60 time is 7.3 seconds, whereas the AWD Highlander’s time is 6.7 seconds. There is a hybrid version of the Highlander available for those looking for a fuel-efficient midsize SUV. It features a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors for a total of 243 horsepower.

The Highlander’s handling has been refined, and despite its large size, it exhibits minimal body roll. Even without the added benefit of all-wheel drive (AWD), the torque-vectoring AWD system offered by Toyota can improve the driving experience by dispersing torque among the rear wheels. The car is comfortable, so you can expect a leisurely trip rather than an exciting one.

Due to its turbocharged engine, the Ford Explorer is slightly ahead of the rest of the SUVs in the competition. Second place goes to the Toyota Highlander, which follows the Highlander’s lead. The 2025 Highlander is outpaced by some of its competitors in terms of speed and even in emergency braking situations. The Toyota Highlander, on the other hand, is a user-friendly SUV.

2025 Toyota Highlander Price and Release Date

The Grand Highlander is likely to be in the same ballpark as the Grand Cherokee L. (from Jeep). Grand Highlander’s price will be in line with that of the Highlander, which is set at roughly $37,000. In addition, the Highlander model for the year 2025 costs roughly $35,100. Although it appears to be expensive, it isn’t extravagantly so. The Highlander 2025 model and the Jeep Grand Cherokee give you an indication of what to expect in terms of price.

When all is said and done, the new Highlander is on its way. A hybrid option and greater internal cabin room would be ideal. It’s possible that the entire performance (i.e., power and luxury) isn’t known for sure, though.
